Heavy D's Cause of Death Released
It was a tragedy in the entertainment world when Heavy D died last month, and now the late rapper’s cause of death has been announced.
44-year-old Dwight Arrington Myers passed away due to a pulmonary embolism, defined as a blockage of arteries in the lungs.
Heavy’s condition was the result of deep leg vein thrombosis, possibly caused by his sitting for a long flight from Europe to California days before his demise.
The LA County Coroner also noted that a final report will be made available in two weeks with more detail.
