Surely one party she will not be attending, Lindsay Lohan is threatening legal action over claims that she's set to ring in the new year in Dubai.

According to TMZ, the "Parent Trap" starlet is fuming after learning that her name has been used to promote a New Year's Eve event on the Queen Elizabeth II cruise ship.

Obviously having no plans to be aboard the vessel when the clock strikes midnight, LiLo and her legal team are now mulling over a cease and desist letter to serve the people responsible for the faulty promotions.

Offering up a statement on the matter, Lindsay's rep, Steve Honig, told TMZ, “Lindsay is not going to Dubai, nor had she ever considered doing so. She will be spending New Year's Eve in Los Angeles with a few close friends and family."
