Sacha Baron Cohen Brings "The Dictator" Down Under
Fresh off of a flight around the globe, Sacha Baron Cohen was his usual scene-causing self as he touched down in Sydney, Australia on Tuesday (May 1).
Donning a full-grown beard and a grey sweat suit while using his own body as an advertisement for the flick, the 40-year-old actor arrived at the Sydney International Airport in character for his new film “The Dictator” with a band of babes in tow.
The “Borat” star is no stranger to controversy and his new role is already stirring up a lot of it, as he portrays the fictional leader of the Republic of Wadiya, General Aladeen, who is suspected to be based on real-life leaders Kim Jong-Il and Saddam Hussein.
The latest trailer for the film drew attention when Cohen’s character opened up by saying, “I would like to congratulate your dictatoress Elizabeth on her blood diamond jubilee and I hope it is a smooth transition when her son Charles eventually kills her and seizes power.”
