Spending the weekend hard at work, Zac Efron spent Sunday (January 29) putting the finishing touches on his new movie "The Paperboy".

The 24-year-old actor sported a red and black plaid buttondown shirt and black beanie as he arrived on Los Angeles set to get the midday shoot underway.

Also starring Nicole Kidman and John Cusack, "The Paperboy" is about "a reporter who returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death row inmate."

Quite the busy man these days, Efron is also gearing up to hit the press circuit for "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax" - in which he stars alongside Taylor Swift, Betty White, Ed Helms and Danny DeVito.

Set for a March 2nd theatrical release, Zac will be making numerous promotional appearances including a not-to-be-missed visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" alongside Miss Swift on February 21st.
