Gearing up for the big night ahead, Melissa McCarthy was spotted arriving at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday evening (January 29).

The “Gilmore Girls” actress worked the red carpet at the Shrine Exposition Center venue before hitting the entrance to tend to her presenter duties alongside Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph.

And while she was hoping for a big win for her role in "Bridesmaids," Miss McCarthy ended up losing out on Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Supporting Role honors to Octavia Spencer of "The Help".

Along with toasting Tinseltown's elite, the night also saw Dick Van Dyke present Screen Actors Guild’s 48th Life Achievement Award to Mary Tyler Moore.
