November 11, 2011:
The first reviews are in! Just one week before the film debuts in theaters, Hollywood Reporter published a review of Breaking Dawn Part 1. The verdict? It sounds like the flick will be much like the previous Twilight flicks: Awesome if you're a Twihard, okay if you're not.
The reviewer, Todd McCarthy, said the highly anticipated honeymoon scenes ended up bing "very lame and very disappointing," after much of the frames were left on the cutting room floor in order to keep in the PG-13 realm. Also, apparently the pregnancy portion of the flick is long and drawn-out. "It truly feels that 40 minutes or so, not two hours, would have been plenty to convey all that's necessary in the material covered here," he wrote.
He ends the review with: "The only hope is that they'll have more to do next time around."
Twihards will have to wait just one more week to see if they agree with his luke warm review.
In other news: Robert Pattinson

Pattinson added that the dog was thisclose to being left for dead at the shelter. "He was in one of those shelters where they don't keep them around for very long," he explained. "He was on his sixth of seven days." Aww!
Pattinson refrained from spilling any big Twilight secrets on the show, but he did kick some butt after Fallon challenged him to a game of bow-and-arrow darts!
November 10, 2011:
Twihards are showing their dedication this weekend: Some 700 Twilight fans have already lined up in L.A. to wait for Monday's big premiere! They've lined up and are waiting to be assigned a "camping spot" at LA Live in front of the Nokia Theater, where Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and co. will be Monday evening.

While the LA dedicated fans are all lined up, Twihards in other parts of the country have been showing their support online. Apparently over 1,300 screenings for the November 18th debut have already been sold out! For reference, that's already 72% of Fandango's weekly ticket sales, according to Deadline.com. Wow!

The Breaking Dawn cast has been promoting the flick all over the place in the days that lead up to the big premiere. Taylor Lautner was on Live with Regis & Kelly this morning, and all the host wanted to do was see the actor's abs! Philbin prodded : "Would it be too much for me, an older person, to ask you, a virile .... if you would just show me your abs."
Then, as the segment went on, Philbin asked again: "One of the things I love about is your definitive abs ... do you work out every day?," he said. "I am not kidding! Give me a break, I'm an old man, I want to see abs again."
Unfortunately, Lautner resisted and kept his shirt on. But Philbin did flash a picture of the star shirtless and the studio audience went wild. Naturally.
Robert Pattinson was at another

Today he said: "It's not so much doing the love scene that's the nervewracking part, because I mean I've done a bunch of those before, but it's the fact that it's within the Twilight series it's so much based on...Taylor Lautner's in it, and he's got a six-pack and stuff. You're thinking of sexual positions that sort of involve not showing that," he explained.
Pattinson also addressed his future in film: "Being in any position where you get asked in every interview are you afraid of being typecast, eventually you fear, because I wasn't afraid at all before... but eventually it kind fo seeps in. You can't suddenly shun the audience you collected by doing these movies. You feel like you want to do something completely different, but that's not the right way to go about it," he said.
Hopefully that all means Pattinson will continue to star in sappy romantic movies for at least a while longer!
November 8, 2011:

We've seen a snippet of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's Breaking Dawn wedding, and apparently that's nothing like what the actor would want when he walks down the aisle in real life.
Pattinson talked about over-the-top weddings in a recent interview, saying: "It does seem kind of like a hassle. I was doing an interview with Kristen, and she got kind of annoyed at me for saying the groom's role in a wedding is basically just a prop."
"Even playing the part, you kind of realize it's such a clear indication of whose day it is when you're standing at one end of the aisle and the entire congregation is looking at the other end," he said. "And you're wearing the same suit as every other guy and just kind of waiting there. And she is in a princess dress walking down!"

Sounds like he'd want no part in planning his wedding. He said "any guy who tries to get involved in organizing a wedding or even has an opinion of what their wedding should be" is "really kind of ridiculous."
"It's whatever your wife decides to do!" he added.
But, he's adamant that he choose his own outfit for his future big day."I just don't want to have to wear a silly outfit. That's the only thing you have to think about!"

While Robsten gears up for the Breaking Dawn premiere next week, the film's other stars are in Atlanta for the film's concert tour. Yes, concert tour. Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Charlie Bewley, and singer Christina Perri, who has a song on the film's soundtrack, answered questions and signed autographs yesterday in Atlanta. Then, Perri sang her hit "A Thousand Years" for the eager Twihards.
The five stars will hit a total of five cities in the next week -- including Chicago tonight, then Dallas, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City.
November 5, 2011:

"She will blow him off, and it makes him crazy," the friend said.
And get this: Apparently Pattinson is ready to settle down and get serious, while Stewart's the one who's hesitant to do so. Hmm.
In other news: Pattinson talked all about the highly anticipated birth scene in Breaking Dawn. He said on last week's MTV TV special that filming the scene was "equal parts [silly and bizarre]. There were some moments that were so incredibly extreme, and there's definitely a version of this movie that's a hard-R rating, possibly even NC-17." Wow!
But, it wasn't all super serious work

Werewolf Taylor Lautner has also chimed in on the Breaking Dawn babble lately. He addressed his last scene in the flick and its impact on his character, Jacob Black.
“It didn’t help that my very last scene was an emotional scene to begin with. It was this last dance between Jacob and Bella,” he said. “He’s sort of saying goodbye to her, and she’s saying goodbye to him. She’s going on her honeymoon, and he’s [realizing], ‘All right, it’s over. You’ve got to get over her. She’s married. She’s going to have fun with Edward. It’s done.’
“It was an emotional scene,” he added. “Just being the last scene that we filmed, it was tough.”
Twilight's Big 3 got dirty today at the Footprint Ceremony at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart put their paws in the cement in the epic event today.
Apparently over 120,000 fans caught the action on the Internet, while the place was packed with Twihards hoping for a glimpse at the stars.

A source said Pattinson's family was in the audience. "His parents were in the front row and they were cute," the insider said (via Us magazine). "His mom was using her personal digital camera to take photos of everything, including the news helicopters circling overhead!"
Pattinson took the mic at the ceremony and said: "This is such an incredible honor, how young we are -- it's kind of ridiculous and amazing at the same time. It's all up to you guys to drive this franchise over the years, so thank you so much for being so consistent. Thank you. You should all come up here and put your hands in!"
KStew seemed to be on the

cast. Just a day prior she arrived at LAX with her hand all wrapped up, after reportedly falling off a horse a few weeks before while filming Snow White and the Huntsmen in London.
Now the Breaking Dawn cast is in full publicity mode. Pattinson headed to Jimmy Kimmel Live! following the cement ceremony, where he spent some time mingling with his fans before heading in. He wore a Blaster the Rocket Man T-shirt and a black suit jacket for the appearance.
And, the stars will be onhand for the MTV Special tonight for an exclusive look at the flick and Q&A session -- at exactly 7:56pm this evening. Don't miss it!
November 1, 2011:

Twilight fans aren't too happy about Kristen Stewart being absent from the latest Breaking Dawn press events and apparently it's because she has too much going on these days outside of the vampire franchise.
Filming Snow White and the Huntsmen has taken up a lot of her time, plus she's been spending her free time with her man in London. Photogs snapped a makeup-less KStew on her way to Robert Pattinson's West London pad today. So, what's the deal? Why aren't both of these stars promoting their new flick?
Well, a source says about Stewart (via E! Online): "You think people could just let her breathe a little? She just happens to have a lot on her plate right now, and I don't just mean her boyfriend."
As for Mr. Pattinson, there's no

Their due in front of the cameras for the MTV TV special Thursday, and the LA premiere of the flick is in just two weeks. Don't worry, Twihards, you'll catch plenty of Twilight action soon enough.
To quell the pains of waiting, we'll give you a little task to keep you busy right now: Can you guess where the oh-so romantic ballad "Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Wedding Version)" will be reprized in Breaking Dawn? The tender song was played in the final scene of Twilight, and it will appear again at a very pivotal point in the upcoming flick.
Director Bill Condon won't reveal the details about the special moment, but he did explain why it was so important for the Iron & Wine track to make it in another Twilight flick. "I always thought of this movie as the bookend to the first movie, and that was such a great powerful, romantic song for those characters," he said (via MTV). "It just felt right to kind of refer back to it at this important, important moment," he said. We're putting our money on the wedding scene! What do you think?
October 31, 2011:

Director Bill Condon eloquently explained what happened: "It's almost clinical the kind of strict guidelines [the MPAA] have about anything that appears to be — how do I put it delicately? That appears to be, let's call it thrusting. In fact, you know, it was so much more about romance than it was about hot-and-heavy action, so it was a very kind of simple adjustment to make."
Plus: More juicy Breaking Dawn videos have been released! Two TV promos came out over the weekend, and though some of the scenes have already been revealed in the trailer and such, there's new scenes too. One of the new vids shows Bella's touching goodbye to her father Charlie Swan. There's also a glimpse of her in a towel. Scandalous!
The other promotional video contains more dramatic clips -- including a peek at a very, very pregnant Bella Swan.
Condon says Stewart's powerful performance in the flick will "surprise people." "Kristen has such a huge journey to take and to watch her become this fierce, protective, powerful mother figure," he said, "I think that will surprise people."

"All of the characters take tremendous steps in this story, and that's part of what turned me on to the material," Condon said. "To collaborate with Kristen Stewart as she goes from being the Bella we know in the first three movies to being a bride, being someone who finally has sex, gets pregnant, gets sick, gives birth, dies, become a vampire, becomes a warrior? Just think of that journey."
The director adds that the whole cast really stepped it up for the flick. "I think people will be surprised by everybody," Condon contiued. "Taylor [Lautner] surprised me with his commitment and the dark places he goes to in this movie. And Rob, I think there is some sense that he has relaxed into this part and finally willing to show more of himself. His own charm, wit and grace are in evidence in this movie. It surprised me in how relaxed he seemed in something he's fought a little against before."
Big news: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart could already be married! Sort of.

Mr. Pattison joked at a press conference in Sweden this week (via Us magazine): "The wedding scene's funny because we used a real priest. So technically we are already married because he did all the things you would do in a normal ceremony. So we don't have a civil union in law, but I guess in the church we are actually married."
That's a big step for a couple who hasn't even confirmed they're a couple, right?
The actor has been in the headlines a lot this week, and opened up about the sex scenes with Kristen Stewart in British GQ. He said: "The sex scenes were difficult. The set was crazy and you have about 20 people in the room and someone saying things like: 'No, Bella would not have made that noise. Can we do it again?'"
He added: "It was very charged, but a very tender and sentimental scene. It's not a scene from the book, so everyone was nervous about doing it right. A ton of other people were nervous. And, Kristen and I were both worried about the shape of our bodies would look on camera. We felt vulnerable."
Ms. Stewart has also been candid

She has no problem opening up about their on-screen chemistry, but she's basically a closed book (still!) about the relationship between her and her co-star when the cameras aren't rolling. She chalks it up to wanting her privacy. "People can say whatever they want," she said, calling the interest "totally understandable. But when it's personal to you, it's like your life becomes a product, and I'm repelled by that. I don't like to give away gems that people are gonna be like, 'Oh my God!' So I'll always just shrug it off. In fact, I always find it kind of funny, and not just with Rob."

October 27, 2011:
Guess what, Twihards: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is just over three weeks away from hitting the big screen. We expect you're getting your pillow and sleeping bag ready to camp out before the flick's November 18th premiere by now. While you're packing, check out this hot new clip of Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) on their first night as husband and wife. It's the latest snippet to be released from the film, and it's steamy.
The scene shows Edward carrying Bella over the threshold for their first night as newlyweds. It ends with the new bride asking for a few "human minutes" before they go swimming. "Don't take too long Mrs. Cullen," her hubby replies, in the sexiest vampire voice imaginable. Squeal!

And that's not the only juicy tidbit to come out of the Twilight camp today. MTV also revealed that the couple, along with co-star Taylor Lautner, will be on hand during the network's "MTV First: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" special, airing November 3. Catch a never-before-released clip from the movie at 7:56pm ET (on the dot!) then the trio will stick around for a lengthy Q&A session. You can even submit your own video or text questions to MTV.com via Twitter (using @MTVNews, plus the hashtags #AskTwilight and #MTVFirst)! Try not to cry/faint/giggle too much in your video questions.

Also: We all know Edward gets the girl in the end, but did you know Mr. Pattinson was self-conscious about his on-screen rivals abs while filming? Yep, Pattinson said in a recent interview (via New York mag): "You also have to worry about how you're going to look. I had never been so worried about that before, but after seeing how much Taylor works out for the movies, I thought, 'Well, everybody is really going to judge me now.' I always tried to think about positions where I could tense the muscles, and suck in my belly."
He added: "The body of the characters seem to be a big deal. So in this movie I thought, 'OK, it's the last one, I'm getting a six pack,' and I tried, but it's very hard. I worked out so hard for six months, so after filming the sex scene the first thing I thought was, 'Time to eat!'"

Pattinson certainly didn't have anything to be worried about at the Breaking Dawn event in Brussels this week, however. The star showed off his clean-shaven new look while promoting the flick with co-star Ashley Greene Wednesday.
The two walked the red carpet in their finest ensembles, just a few days after they did the same in Paris. Expect a lot more where this came from in the weeks to come...
