Oh, nothing good will come of this. ‘Gossip Girl’ star Leighton Meester has sued her mother, Constance Meester, alleging that her mother misused money the actress gave her to help care for her sick brother. Leighton claims Constance spent the $7500 a month she was sending on things such as botox, hair extensions, and cosmetic surgery.

Constance returned fire with a lawsuit of her own, claiming Leighton promised to give her $30,000 and $10,000 a month that she hasn’t paid. Leighton’s brother recently had to undergo brain surgery, and Constance claims she has run out of money because Leighton has made these payments.

Constance says she deserves the money because of all she “sacrificed” for Leighton. It’s so sad when families end up suing each other in court, but it may be unavoidable. Some people can’t be reasoned with.
